1.Peel-Off Mask for Acne – 1 tbsp Gelatin, 1 tbsp Honey, 2 drops Tea Tree Oil .Start with a clean face and remove all makeup. Add gelatin to a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds. Stir gelatin and let cool until it starts to thicken (a few minutes). Add honey and tea tree oil drops. Stir. Apply to face.
2.Peel-Off Mask for Dull or Dry Skin – 1 tbsp Gelatin or Honey, 1/4 Avocado, 2 drops Lemon Essential Oil. Start with a dry, clean face. Add gelatin or honey to a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds. Stir and let cool until it starts to thicken (a few minutes). Add mashed avocado and lemon oil drops. Stir. Apply evenly to face. Wait 10–15 and then peel off. Gently cleanse skin with water.
3.Charcoal peel-off mask with gelatin for oily skin – 1/2 tsp activated charcoal powder, 1/2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder, 1 tbsp warm water. Combine all ingredients in a bowl until they form a paste Apply to clean, dry skin with a brush. Wait 30 minutes, then carefully peel off the mask .If any residue is left behind, or if the mask is too painful to peel off, it can be wiped away with a warm, wet towel.
4.Almond rose peel-off mask for dry skin – These ingredients inhibit moisture loss and encourage a bright, healthy complexion. 3 tsp almond milk, 3 tsp rosewater, 3 drops almond oil, 2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder. Combine gelatin powder and almond milk in a heat-resistant glass bowl. Heat the bowl in a microwave for 10 seconds; stir until the gelatin powder dissolves. Let the mixture cool until it begins to thicken. Add rose water and almond oil; stir until fully blended. Apply to clean, dry skin with a brush. Wait 15 minutes, then carefully peel off the mask.
5.Orange and yogurt peel-off mask for dull skin – These combined effects encourage a firm, smooth skin texture and a bright complexion. 1 tsp plain yogurt, 2 tsp apple cider vinegar, 4 tsp orange juice, 2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder. Combine gelatin powder and orange juice in a heat-resistant glass bowl. Heat the bowl in a microwave for 10 seconds; stir until the gelatin powder dissolves. Let the mixture cool until it begins to thicken. Add vinegar and yogurt; stir until fully blended. Apply to clean, dry skin with a brush. Wait 15 minutes, then carefully peel the mask off.
6.Honey and turmeric peel-off mask for acne-prone skin – 3 tsp apple cider vinegar, 3 tsp witch hazel, 1/2 tsp Manuka honey, 1 drop turmeric essential oil, 2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder, 1 tbsp warm water. Combine gelatin powder and water in a heat-resistant glass bowl. Heat the bowl in a microwave for 10 seconds; stir until the gelatin powder dissolve. Let the mixture cool until it begins to thicken. Add apple cider vinegar, witch hazel, honey and turmeric oil, stir until fully blended. Cool, apply to clean, dry skin with a brush. Wait 15 minutes; gently peel off mask.
Tips to Remember While Using Peel Off Masks
1.Peel off masks have different consistencies and formulation, so there are few guidelines to follow to avail its benefits in a better way.
2.Always use peel-off masks after a shower, because the warm water, when used in your shower will provide you steam and opens up the clogged pores. This, in turn, softens the dirt on your skin, making it easier to be cleaned.
3.Avoid using your palms/fingers/hands to apply any mask on your skin, instead use a paintbrush for even application. And, do wash the brush after every use.
4.If peel off mask is left for long, our skin gets over-dried. And cold water won’t prove to be an effective idea to break down the mask, but lukewarm water will help you wash off the face easily.
5.Apply toner on your skin after the removal of peel off masks to lock in the benefits of the mask for a smoother, plumber and younger skin.
